TZ iBoat & GPS2IP
TZ iBoat offers essential features for cruising, sailing and fishing while providing a smooth and simple user experience
You can integrate GPS2IP with TZ iBoat for all your NMEA information.
TZ has a FAQ here with some information about setting TZ iBoat with external GPS devices, like GPS2IP.
You can choose one of two different connection options, with neither having a particular advantage
Here, GPS2IP waits for TZ iBoat to connect, and after the connection, pushes the NMEA data to TZ iBoat.
GPS2IP must be in Socket Mode (see here), and TZ iBoat in TCP/IP mode.
Here, TZ iBoat just listens for data, and GPS2IP transmits new information when the GPS data is updated.
GPS2IP must be in UDP Push (see here), and TZ iBoat in TCP/IP mode.
